Lake Biwa July fishing scene

As July arrives, bass that have recovered from spawning begin to increase in numbers, signaling the start of the full swing of summer patterns. Water temperatures rise, and offshore weeds become more pronounced. Many bass migrate to deeper offshore areas in search of food, making this a prime time for fishing. The activity of smaller bass also increases, making them more likely to bite.

Offshore structures like weed beds, humps, and deeper drop-offs hold many fish. Techniques such as swimming jigs, drop shots, and texas rigs through weeds are particularly effective. Early morning and evening sessions can produce explosive topwater action.
